My Story: Most people go through life wondering what they were destined to be; I was fortunate enough to be born into it. I was born in Denton, Texas, where my grandparents owned their very own restaurant. It didn’t take long watching her passion through this business that I too found a passion for it. Restaurants and customers became my second home and that ran through my blood. In 1997 my family relocated to a smaller region, Northwest Arkansas, that had a whopping half million people to feed. My mother has dedicated her life to serving and managing numerous restaurants within NWA, while I started my career in the restaurant world. Through this journey I met my people, whether I stayed til one in the morning cleaning up with them after a crazy shift or served on them learning about their dreams or children’s dreams in the making, who are all a part of my story. If it weren’t for these people who subsequently decided to love me as their own, I wouldn’t have been able to create my second home - Jaclyn’s Kitchen. With Jaclyn’s Kitchen being my second home and a representation of who I am, I made it pretty imperative to have amazing food. The amount of love we put into our atmosphere and food shows when you come in, ensuring you leave full and happy to now be a part of our family. While eating in this tiny hole in the wall my staff will learn about you, tell you about them, all while you enjoy our homey food. We care for you, call you by name, treat you as if you’ve come not only to enjoy our food but to see us because we not only serve you but enjoy seeing each and every customer there.
